    Novartis guests lectured on compliance rules to facilitate academic promotion of Hycamtin

    On April 9, 2018, the guests from Novartis came to the meeting room of the Hangzhou headquarters of Winhealth Group. In order to better promote Hycamtin®, the Compliance Department invited Shirley Zhang, compliance director of Novartis Sandoz, and Wang Li, brand group manager, to Winhealth Group to lecture on Novartis's compliance rules for our staff. 


    Relevant regional managers and medical information representatives from the Central and Southern Region came to the meeting room early in the morning. They came from Hangzhou, Ningbo and Wuhan respectively to receive face-to-face training as company representatives. The representatives from other provinces, in teams, took part in the training by teleconference.

    The meeting was started by compliance director Zhang? who made a brief speech. Then Shirley came straight to the point and asked an important question: why is compliance required? 


    The staff of Winhealth present gave detailed answers on the benefits of compliance to the company, individuals and business.


    Shirley then gave an introduction to Novartis P3 Professional Interaction Policy, which came into effect on March 1 this year. The main purpose of the overall framework is to remind us to think about the principles and purposes of the promotion activities, which includes five aspects: 


    · Do we adhere to patient-orientation? 


    · Is our funding legal and responsible? 


    · Is the purpose of our activities clear? 


    · Is our cooperation real and appropriate? 


    · Is our research justified and reasonable? 


    After the introduction of P3, the Winhealth staff studied Novartis's 'Bribery and Anti-Bribery' cases and 'Dos & Don'ts' cases, and raised questions based on their own conditions and got thoughtful answers. The training came to a successful conclusion.
